Hoglets craft: make a star suncatcher

Hoglets craft: make a star suncatcher

Here's how to do it at home. You will need:

  • A piece of thin white card
  • A pencil
  • Felt-tip pens
  • A pair of Scissors
  • A small cup of olive oil
  • Sheets of kitchen roll
  • A piece of string

How to make your suncatcher

1. Using your pencil draw a large star onto your cardboard. Then colour your star in with your felt-pens, any design you choose. 2. Cut out your Star and then place it on the remaining cardboard. Take one of your pieces of kitchen roll, fold it over and dip it into the olive oil. Now cover your Star in olive oil, make sure every inch the surface of the star is covered and then leave it a few seconds to soak in. 3. Place your Star between the two remaining sheets of Kitchen roll, one on top one on the bottom and them gently rub of any excess oil. 4. Using your Scissors punch a small hole through the top of the Star, then thread your  length of string through it. Tie the string together at the ends then hang your star in the window and wait for the sun to shine! Mama Hoglet. X
